Project 365 – week 1

Last year, I decided, finally, that it was time to do something I had always toyed with doing: the daunting yet exciting Project 365.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, the premise is very simple: take one photo a day, for 365 days. For obvious reasons, this sounds very difficult – and it is. For obvious reasons, it sounds very fun -it is that too. In the end, I caved a couple of months short. Life had just gotten too busy, and I needed to be focusing on other things. Even though I failed in the main goal of the project, I am still really pleased and impressed with myself that I persevered for as long as I did. It forced me to get used to carrying my camera around with me EVERYWHERE, and I like to think that I learnt a thing or two along the way. Because I am the queen of procrastination, I never got around to posting them all like I meant to. Because “better late than never”, I am going to work on sharing them with you now, one week at a time.
