Project 365 – week 2

OH HI THERE.

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Woops. Apparently despite a many years long desire to start a blog, I have been terrible about getting mine going. But oh well, I’m here now!

LOADS has happened since I last posted a year ago, the biggest being THAT WE BOUGHT OUR OWN PLACE?????? What is this glorious nonsense? We’ve been loving it, but that has also contributed to the whole “Claudia being an awful blog owner” thing, what with getting settled and various DIY’s around the place. Our first summer here has been lovely though, and it is so, SO nice to live somewhere that feels homey again (something our previous “flat” never managed to do). We have a full-sized fridge – far from a given in the UK! And a bath, along with a hot water heater that is actually capable of filling it – what a luxury! *glares pointedly at previous “flat”* We have a gas stove, a pantry, loads of storage, a second bedroom we get to use as our office/creative room, and DAYLIGHT!!!! Like, so much daylight I went out and got a blackout blind for the bedroom. (Again, this was NOT an issue at our previous abode…. at all…). Our plants are enjoying that bit quite as much as I am!

But that’s enough about the flat for now. I am here to bring you my very (very very) belated second update on my attempt at Project 365. These are the photos from August 18-24 2014 (yes, 2014! hhahaaaahahaaaa a…….. ). I’ll try to catch up so that I can post things from the same week – 3 years ago, which would mean I only have a month to get caught up on, hehe.
